Kneaded by Kani was founded in June of 2021 with the intention of offering care that is both effective and deeply restorative.

Kani earned her Bachelor of Science in Sports Science from North Carolina A&T State University in 2016.

With a strong foundation in anatomy, movement, and the body’s response to stress, she went on to become a licensed massage and bodywork therapist. Her massage work focuses on deeper, therapeutic techniques that address tension, chronic discomfort, and muscular imbalance—while still allowing the body the opportunity to fully relax.

Skincare has always been a passion for Kani, and after completing massage school, she attended Millennium Trade Academy to become a licensed esthetician. Her approach to skincare reflects that same philosophy—relaxing, effective, and intentional. Each facial is designed to support healthy skin while creating a calming experience that encourages the nervous system to slow down.

In 2021, Kani was selected as a recipient of the Bioelements Esthetics Entrepreneurship Award, an honor that supported the expansion of her practice to include both massage and esthetics under one intentional brand.
